  Wow what a groovy place! Hip music scene is bursting alive and well in Bloomington and this packed house proves it. Staff is about a level 2 of friendliness on a 10 scale but they deal with uncooperative college kids every night and it is to be expected. Hot & claustrophobic feeling place when packed... just step out if it gets too much.... lots of bar areas ... interesting decor...

  Being one of the few venues in town, the Bluebird does a great job of curating bands for a wide variety of audiences. It's got an awesome, dive bar vibe and has a great history as a music venue in town.

  I don't drink but the bar tenders are pretty nice. They have a huge screen for football games at the bar. They have a pretty good karaoke night. It was fun and it looks like a good place to play in a band if you're in one. Parking might be hard to find.

  I stop by pretty frequently for concerts, fits the college area dive-bar mystique quite well. Oddly shaped so sometimes it's difficult to find a good place to stand. Get a good amount and style of bands in though, worth the drive over from Columbus as the shows are usually pretty cheap as well.
